If you're a member of Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers, then you probably received your 2011 Colorado Gold Conference brochure last week.
If you're not a member, and want to be a part of a great annual gathering of fiction writers in Denver, Colorado September 9, 10, and 11th, you can visit the RMFW website to see the full brochure and workshop descriptions.
The conference gurus have new features for us this year, including Friday Morning Master Classes beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending by noon.
In addition, the popular Friday critique workshops, previously held only in the afternoon, will be available morning and afternoon.
Colorado Gold is going paperless for the handout booklet. Attendees will receive a loaded jump drive with workshop materials. The booklet will also be available for download in August.
Whether you want to know more about scriptwriting, critique groups, firearms, or sex (well...writing about sex, I mean), Colorado Gold workshops offer the variety fiction writers need to hone their skills.
You'll hear lots more about Colorado Gold here at Chiseled in Rock over the next few months, including information about and interviews with agents, editors, and workshop presenters. This is one of my favorite conferences and I try to attend every year. I hope to see you there.
