I sent a query for a children’s picture book on animal care to a publisher. Somehow, while I got the publishers name right, I got the address wrong and it went to a publisher who dealt with Jewish concerns and themes. They said it was a good book, they liked it, but would have to pass as it didn’t fit into their business model. They then gave me a Jewish blessing so next time I could get the address right.
